He took time to take a series of pictures along the way and was kind enough to

Longleaf Trace Coloring Book Contest Winners Recognized

Katrina damage on August 29th 2005 was major, but the entire Trace
was fully reopened by November 19th. Check the story of the cleanup.

Pine Belt Pacer Tony Mozingo presented Longleaf Trace Trail Manager
Herlon Pierce with a $700 check on 2/7/05. The check was the result
of money raised from the Steam Whistle 12K, held New Year's Day
on the Trace, which Tony directed.

Donation Box installed at Gateway Southern Miss

Barbara Sue and Russ Williams from northern Illinois are spending
some of the Winter in their RV at Paul B. Johnson State Park.
They do volunteer work as hosts at the park.

Sumrall holds their 2004 Christmas Festival on Main Street adjacent to the Trace

A U.S. flag was donated by Moore's Bike Shop, and is
mounted over their mile marker, milepost 10.
