iv. $ amount discussed to purchase station sign and mile marker signs; we’ll start at beaver pond; working on prototype with horseshoe to show membership; board offered $3k sponsorship for major sign and $1k for mile marker would be for 5 year contract; rough estimate of cost $1200 – 1500 for big sign and $200 for mile marker; doesn’t have to be $$, can be equivalent to $3k to get sponsorship; these signs would be put on the equestrian trail; looking at 6-8 foot post with the mile marker; do big at epley and one on Carson end and then put one at each station; should have about 23 mile marker signs; suggestion to do smaller sign at lower price maybe down to $200; how many people will see it for 3-6 months and over a year; what area people come from; do a program to identify smaller amounts that will allow other smaller companies to sponsor. Need water troughs hooked up, already have one in Carson and bassfield, have on in Sumrall, but not hooked up; needs water hooked up; only need one at epley; then at beaver pond when ready; being first year won’t be in feed store ad budget; could have names on hitching posts; $500, then down to $250; committing for 5 years; think about and bring to next meeting; what can we do for less amounts; could put hitching posts up; motion to table to next meeting made by paige and seconded by lamar; agreed by all
