  1. Old Business

d. Dale was going to follow up with Plum Creek for some land by the sign at Epley Station for parking. No updates yet.

e. The Taylor Rental sign was found by the Sparrows about ½ mile west of where it was stolen from. It will be hung back up as soon as possible. Asked the sheriff if we could get more patrolling on that area of the trail.

f. Letters were sent to every member: Anyone wishing to hold a trail ride must obtain a permit from the Longleaf Trace Rails to Trails Trail Manager.

g. Lott Circle water connection? No one knows anyone at Lott Circle. Johnny will check to see about putting a water connection at Ridgeland Rd.

h. Work Day held October 27: Five people showed up to work and we cleared about ½ mile from the Beaver Pond toward Clyde Station.

i. Have made some progress with the dozer going out towards Bassfield. Expect by next summer that we’ll have the trail looking the same from Sumrall to Lott Circle as it does from Epley to Sumrall. The debris has been a big issue so far and is very costly. May have to just put the debris beside the trail to just rot. We are going to put a bid out for new backhoe.
