Above left: Wildflowers provided colorful landscape canvases along the trail like this mass of Purple Henbit.

Above left: False Garlic (Nothoscordum bivalve).
Above right: Chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) or some other similar shrub.


Violets are hard to identify, so I’m guessing here.
